Here is your daily encouragement words and thoughts. Today I bring you encouragement from Luke 22:14-20
Now when the hour came, Jesus took his place at the table and the apostles joined him.
15 And he said to them, “I have earnestly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer.
16 For I tell you, I will not eat it again until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.”
17 Then he took a cup, and after giving thanks he said, “Take this and divide it among yourselves.
18 For I tell you that from now on I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.”
19 Then he took bread, and after giving thanks he broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”
20 And in the same way he took the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood.

Communion is a very important part of my relationship to God. I have been taught about communion from various sources and studied about communion to understand the importance of what we partake in. Today I am going to strictly focus on Jesus's request that we do this in remembrance of Him.
Jesus took the Old Testament passover meal and placed new meaning on it to be a focal point to remember him.
Amen
