Encouragement: Close Friends

Here is your daily encouragement words and thoughts. Today I bring you encouragement from Proverbs 18: 24

24 Some friends play at friendship, but a true friend sticks closer than one’s nearest kin.


I am on vacation this week so my postings will be dependent on getting to the Internet.

Vacation time can often be a time when we meet up with friends, some are old friends, some are new friends. Some friends will be only acquaintances and some will be very close.

Our psalm guides us here that many will play at being your friend, but true friends will stick closer to you then your own kin folk.

Make sure to always treasure your close friends, be there for them in their time of need, because when the chips are down they will be there for you because they are your close friend.

I praise God for the time of rest that a vacation brings.
