Here is your daily encouragement words and thoughts. Today I bring you encouragement from Luke Chapter 10
17 Then the seventy-two returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name!” 18 So he said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. 19 Look, I have given you authority to tread on snakes and scorpions and on the full force of the enemy, and nothing will hurt you. 20 Nevertheless, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names stand written in heaven.”
21 On that same occasion Jesus rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent, and revealed them to little children. Have you ever had a big event in your walk with Christ where you exclaim look at the great work I have done for the Lord. Jesus gives us a real word on caution in this text. We are not to focus on the fact that the spirits submit to us in our dealings, but we are to look beyond and rejoice that our names stand written in heaven to God's Glory. We are to focus on God's Glory and Grace and not in our personal power or deeds. So anytime you do something for God check your focus and make sure it is still on Jesus and not yourself . Rejoice and be glad in it.
Amen.

I really like the way you mentioned do not focus on your acts FOR God, but focus on God Himself. That is so so true.
