Today I bring you encouragement from Psalm 5:11-12
But may all who take shelter in you be happy!
May they continually shout for joy!
Shelter them so that those who are loyal to you may rejoice!
12 Certainly you reward the godly, Lord.
Like a shield you protect them in your good favor.

I have posted many blog entries providing encouragement through seeing scripture that displays that you can endure through hardship. A hardship just like you are going through right now. A very good friend told me a while back that it was important to focus on being happy. That I needed to be happy.
In reflecting on this, I have noted over the last couple of weeks many people finding a new happiness in there existing situation. So over the next little while I am going to focus on what the bible has to say about happy. I hope that God can shine through my blog and bring or increase happiness to all who read here.
Psalm 5 suggests that if we take shelter in Him, that we can be happy and shout for Joy. I think that this does happen.
How, you say?
Well, when we take shelter in the Lord, we turn over the stresses of life to Him. This act allows Him make order of our lives. The first step in this process takes the stress taken off our shoulders. When we are full of stress and worry we are consumed by these efforts of fear, worry and self. With the stress off our shoulders, it allows us to become more focused. We can then use the lessons we have learned from His word and move forward with the help of His guidance. We do what we must do to change our situation. Our minds have the time and the energy to find a solution. So often God places people and tools around us that are the keys to changing our situations. We need to accept them and use them for His glory.
We need to remember that each time fear and stress move upon us we need to take shelter in the Lord. This may sound simple and easy but it is not. It requires trust. Trust in a God that gave His son that we may be acceptable in His presents.
Like the song says below "I could get used to this bein Happy".
May we all take shelter in Him
Amen
